This is the "mail sorting" area. The desk has bins for incoming mail, bins for each person in the house, and assorted pens/pencils in it. Under the desk is the cat's litterbox. On the counter to the right are the mixer and bread machine. The microwave to the left is almost as old as I am.

Looking down the stairs to the basement. On either side are hooks for drying swimsuits, towels, gloves, hats, etc. With (at one point) 4 swimmers, there was a lot of stuff to dry.

Looking into the crawlspace. Lots of random stuff.

My brother's K'Nex roller coaster. This is the center area of the basement, where people play.

Computers. Everywhere. This is my corner of the basement. The shelving units are filled with assorted old computer bits.

Looking the other way, the shelving units are filled with Construx, Legos, etc.

Under the stairs is kept paint, toilet paper, and other such things.

The "Kids Bookshelf" contains lots of books for kids. It includes "Charlie Brown's 'cyclopedia" and lots of other classics.

The microwave is ancient. 'nuff said. It still works though.

This is a slightly more exposed shot of Al's house. It's bright.

The front of our house has a good number of lights.

I have no idea why I took this, but it's some of our trees.

In front of our house is a bench that was given to my mom years ago. It's comfortable. Also, this shot shows the stone front of our house well. Birds and bees really like nesting in it.
